Restoration Ministries Worship Center is an independent, protestant, nondenominational church that believes that God works through His Church to demonstrate His love for this world. We can appreciate the many Christian churches that exist in Tampa, and work with pastors from all denominations to "co-pastor" the city and spread the Good News - that God is alive and that He wants a relationship with you.

We believe:

  • The Bible
We believe that the Bible is a book that God Himself inspired and wrote through many men and women authors. We believe that it is the one thing in this world that has proven to be true and essential for knowing who God is, what He has done, what He is doing today, and what He intends to do in the future. We believe that it was passed down to us without errors and that it can be used to learn and teach others from the very heart of God.

  • The Trinity
We believe that a single God exists (and has always existed) in three individual persons - the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. We believe that they work in harmony with each other, working towards one common purpose, referred to as the Will of God.

  • The Godhood of Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a young virgin named Mary. He led a life that was completely attached to the Father and was completely sinless from start to finish. We believe that He took the sins (all of the things we do against God, ourselves, and each other) of this world on His shoulders. Then, He died on a cross as a sacrifice for that sin, and resurrected after three days in the tomb. Today, we believe that He is sitting at the right hand of the Father as the one who represents us to the Father.

  • We Have All Sinned
We believe that everyone everywhere has sinned many times in their lives. Because we have worked against God, even if it is unintentional, we are in a state of lost ness and confusion. We are all headed towards eternal separation from God. The only way to change that is to take the time to meet and build a relationship with God through the person, the sacrifice, and the teachings of Jesus Christ.

  • The Second Coming of Christ
We believe that Christ is preparing to come back and establish a new world using those that know and serve Him.

  • A Christian Lifestyle
We believe in living our lives with different standards than many of people in this world. We believe in living a "holy", or distinctively separate, life since that is the only real sign of a life dedicated to God. At the same time, we believe that every Christian must have concern for the hurts and social needs of those around him. Love is the ultimate sign of a Christian heart, and the only way to truly know whether a person knows God. We do not believe we are perfect - we just love God and want to live in a way that makes Him happy.

  • Spiritual Gifts
We believe that God has given you many gifts and talents. The Holy Spirit adds to those gifts and talents with a whole new set of gifts. It is important to understand and properly use those gifts within your ministry to God, others in your church, and the people in the world around you. We believe in freedom to use your gifts tempered with balance and self-control. We believe that when God gives you a spiritual gift, you should take the time to be properly prepared to use that gift. That's what your pastors and leaders are for.

  • God's Lordship
We believe that we should dedicate ourselves to serve God and to His authority over our lives. We believe that it is better to follow God's plan for our lives than our own, although God gives us the choice to do either one. The catch is that only God's plan works to truly fulfill our purpose, please Him, and lead us to eternal life.

  • Spreading the Word
We believe that, as a church, we must use every modern means of communication available to us to present the story and testimony about Jesus Christ throughout the world. At the same time, we believe that the most powerful, honest, and effective method of encouraging people to meet Christ is through living a life that demonstrates the power and effectiveness of knowing Christ ourselves.

  • A Personal Relationship
We believe that it ultimately comes down to a personal relationship with God - just you and Him. Having that relationship involves learning about Him, talking to Him, and allowing Him to talk to you. It is also about building relationships with others who know Him, and discovering life and purpose together.
